A Little History:

We began as a family-owned home embroidery business in 1987. Back then it was trendy to name your embroidery business after your home state, so that’s just what we did. Oklahoma Embroidery Supply & Design (OESD) was born.

 

And here we are – over 30 years later and still in OKC, Oklahoma! We now have over 50 employees and we are always looking for talented people to join our wonderful team in OKC! How We Got Started Stitching

In 1998 the world wide web was an exciting new frontier, and the tones of dial-up internet rang in our ears. Home embroidery machines were becoming more available, so we decided to try offering the embroidery designs we created on a website for sale. EmbroideryOnline.com (catchy name, right?) Back then it took almost 2 minutes to download an embroidery collection via dialup!

 

1998 really was a great year for OESD as we also created the first Freestanding Lace Design. This brought embroidery to new heights (literally), and we are still expanding and exploring all the amazing dimensional projects we can create with this technique.
