Heavy duty fabrics need a heavy duty presser foot and heavy-duty needles. The Janome ultra glide foot provides a resistance free surface that is perfect for sewing vinyl, leather, ultra suede, or any sticky fabric that could cling to a traditional metal presser foot. The HD roller foot was specifically made to stitch around curves or in tight spots like corners of tote bags. Install and repair heavy metal zippers on leather totes, outdoor cushions, sleeping bags, winter parkas and more with the adjustable zipper foot. The included needle set is stronger, thicker and has a larger eye for thicker threads, with a stronger shaft for less needle breakage through thicker layers.
