Looking for a great beginner quilt project? Join Terri Birkes for a fun and friendly session where you’ll create a simple, sweet baby quilt made entirely from 2½" squares. This quilt is designed to come together quickly, making it ideal for gifts or learning basic quilting techniques.

You’ll walk away with a completed quilt top and the confidence to take on more!

✂️ Project Outcome:

• One baby quilt top (approx. 45" x 45")

• Understanding of layout, assembly, basting, and marking for quilting

• A soft, cozy quilt ready to finish or gift!

🧵 Supplies Needed:

• 196 squares (2½" x 2½") – Precut or cut from fabrics of your choice

• 1¼ yards backing fabric

• 1¼ yards top fabric (if not using all precut squares)

• 100% cotton batting – 45" x 45"

• Fabric glue stick

• Matching thread(s)

• Quilting safety pins

• Marking pen

• Ruler (for marking quilting lines)

(Optional: Precut charm packs can be used for convenience.)
