🐶 Class Description:

Celebrate National Pet Month by sewing the coziest bed your pet has ever seen! In this workshop, you'll create a zippered, washable pet bed using soft Shannon Fabrics Luxe Cuddle and Cuddle 3. You'll learn how to construct the bed cover with a zipper for easy washing, and how to create a custom insert using muslin and stuffing.

A free pattern is included with three size options: Small, Medium, and Large.

✂️ Project Outcome:

• One completed, zippered pet bed

• Muslin insert with filling

• Take-home pattern in three sizes (Small – 14", Medium – 20", Large – 24")

• Confidence sewing with plush fabric and zippers!

🧵 Supplies Needed:

For all sizes (choose based on bed size):

• Zipper: 14", 20", or 24" (Small, Medium, or Large)

• 3/4 yard of Luxe Cuddle (top and sides)

• 1/2 yard of Cuddle 3 (base)

• 1¼ yards of muslin (for insert lining)

• Stuffing or pillow filling for insert

• Sewing machine

• Thread to match or contrast

• Basic sewing supplies (scissors, ruler, clips, marking tools)
