Class: Crazy Quilt as You Go 9” block - Kitty Hughes
In this class we will create a 9” block to create a crazy quilt sampler, quilting as you go. A great method to use up your smaller scraps to make a larger quilt. Come see the sampler made in 1889
Supplies required:
Sewing machine, snips, scissors, pins & or clips, assorted threads, 13” square batting, 13” square back, assorted fabric scraps, two 2 ½” width of fabric, thread to match binding

No template or ruler needed!
Techniques you’ll learn: accurate cutting with rotary cutter and ruler, How to dresden plates together, how to make a yo-yo
Supplies required: Sewing Machine, thread and matching bobbins, two contrasting fabrics, and decorative stitches.

Techniques you’ll learn: adding strips at an angle - 1/4 inch seams, hexagons, top stitching
